I am glad this regiment worked for you. I was not as fortunate. Reading these posts on this thread brought back memories because I literally spent years researching and testing (on myself) all of these exact supplements (some of the most obscure available) and dozens more. I charted my progress on spreadsheets, graphs and even wrote my own app for tracking my progress. I tested supplements in every way imaginable such as with food, without food, different times of the day, different dosages, different brands within the same subtypes, with prescription meds, etc. Add to this all the alternative therapies like acupuncture and reiki - I spent thousands of dollars.
Today, I still have tinnitus and none of those supplements or mixtures of supplements really helped. Some like 5-HTP greatly improved my depression and anxiety to the point where I could drop my Prozac and Lexipro and never return to them to this day.
The only solid thing that worked in the end for coping with my tinnitus was the passage of time and an excellent CBT therapist to challenge and learn coping strategies for my negative thinking.
I am not saying don't stop trying. Some of us are wired to never give up. I am one of them. I still would like a chance to rid myself of tinnitus one day but I don't believe the answer is in supplements.
Lately, I have been experimenting with cannabis and different types and sources of CBD from cannabis and hemp from full spectrum to broad, pure isolated cannabidiol, mixing different solutions of CBD with THC, sativa's and indica's with CBD tinctures and oils from different strains and charting my progress along the way. I have extracted oils from flower, stems and leaves. I have also experimented with different delivery methods into my body to which I will not go into great details. Being that I am also in this industry, makes it easier for me to acquire these materials.
I have yet to find the magic combination or dosage for tinnitus but I have been able to reduce it significantly at times. Also, I do not need to take my epilepsy seizure meds any longer. So in that respect, it is a success.
I do wish you continued success and for others to find what works best for them. We are all different and there are likely unique solutions we benefit from, from our own discoveries. Keep up the faith and the good fight.
I guess I'm still in the naive phase. Still, just ordering these made me feel better. I think it's for the most part the feeling that you're actively working for a solution. Even if it doesn't work, that hope you feel until you find out, brightens the days in between.
Plus, it would be an awful shame if this concoction would be giving me those same results, but I wouldn't try it. I also have reactive tinnitus, hyperacusis, comparable to @Nick M, and those results he describes sound like heaven. We shall see .
